Types of Caption Text

Caption text also has several types, namely:

1. Identification

This type of caption text is usually used to explain or identify everyone who is is in the photo, but doesn't tell a story.


2. Group Caption

Group captions must be clear about which image each caption describes.


3. Story Telling Caption

Story-telling captions are the ideal type of caption and can be used whenever possible.


4. Summary

usually contains an explanation of the subject in the picture, the activities carried out in the picture, the time of the incident, the location of the incident and the reason why the activity was carried out.


5. Quote

Quote caption means containing a quote from someone in the picture.


6. Cutline

Cutline type captions are the ones most often found in pictures and writings on newspapers and media, both offline and online


7. Expanded

In accordance with the name of the type, this expanded caption text is a development of the previous text, especially from the summary caption.

Tug of war is a folk sport played in a festive and tense atmosphere, especially during Independence Day on 17 August in Indonesia. The game is played by two teams, each consisting of the same members. Both teams will race to pull the rope with all their might. Hence, the game of tug-of-war is dominated by the strength and endurance of the teams.
